Here's my version:
The government set a goal for so many green homes to be built in the next few years, and they launched this challenge to help achieve this goal. They have developed a scale for rating a home's energy efficiency. 100 on the scale means that this home will use the same energy as other new homes. If you score 80, then your home will use 20% less energy. To qualify for the certification, a home must score 70 or lower.
Well, Troy did a GREAT job, and our home scored a 45 on the scale! How about that?!
If you are considering building a home, or adding on to your existing home, be sure to contact Troy to find out how it can be done with an eye to energy efficiency.

Congratulations on the Builder's Challenge achievement! I was excited to hear about this.
I've noticed your website and thought a complimentary site with information about LEED homes in Illinois may be beneficial to you, as well as your site visitors.
The web site is http://www.leedforhomesillinois.org, and for instance we just published news about the Northern Illinois MLS changing to accommodate green building features. Thanks for considering linking to our web site, and keep up the good work on your own green building projects!
